1. Create a free account on demorail.com.
2. Install the Demorail extension from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to your toolbar.
3. Click the Demorail icon, press Start recording and use your product. Every click becomes a step.
4. Press Stop. The demo opens in the editor, where Write with AI drafts the tour copy for you.
5. Press Publish, then share the link or copy the embed code.

The extension asks me to connect. Click the Demorail icon and press Connect. It opens demorail.com; sign in there and the extension links to your workspace.

Clicks aren't being recorded. Recording works on regular web pages. Chrome doesn't let extensions run on its own pages (chrome://, the Web Store) or on PDFs.

Customer data shows on a screen. In the editor, pick the step, choose Blur and drag a box over it to hide it in the player. The original capture is still stored, so for anything truly sensitive, record with test data instead.

Billing and plans. Open Settings in the app to upgrade, switch plans, update your card or download invoices. Plans are monthly and you can cancel any time.

Deleting your data. Deleting a demo removes its screenshots and page copies. To delete your whole account, email us from the address you signed up with.
